How to Edit an Existing Nomi Image with Edit / Transform

To edit an existing Nomi image, open the album beside your Nomi's name, select the image, and choose Edit / Transform Image. Request one specific change and state what should remain. Inspect the entire result before iterating; preserving the face, pose, clothing and background is a request, not a guarantee.

Before starting: scope, privacy and payment

Use your existing adult account and one generated image of a fictional adult. Decide on a single correction before submitting anything.

Official sources rechecked October 21, 2026, Asia/Shanghai. This guide is based on documentation, not a signed-in or paid-account test. Expected results below are checkpoints for your attempt, not promises or observed test outcomes.

Choose a harmless example, such as removing a cup from a table. Keep real people's photos, private addresses, identifying documents and sensitive relationship details out of the image and prompt. Do not assume editing is local-only or that deleting a result guarantees erasure; this workflow does not verify retention or sharing settings.

Before submitting, check any allowance, charge or confirmation actually presented to you. No current edit price, credit deduction, subscription entitlement or refund is verified here. Stop if the terms are unclear; do not buy a plan merely to search for a missing button.

1. Choose the existing image and open its editor

Open the album beside your Nomi's name, select the intended image, then choose Edit / Transform Image above it. Expected result: an editor for that image.

This route is documented in the Nomipedia editing guide, last edited December 3, 2025. Check that you opened the right picture before describing a change. If you are looking at another image, return to the album and select again.

Make a brief comparison note: cup on table, blue jacket, seated pose, window behind subject. This is your checklist, not text you must paste into Nomi. If the documented control is absent, pause instead of selecting an unrelated appearance setting.

2. Request one change and name what to preserve

Enter a short instruction with a clear action and target, followed by the important details to keep. Expected result: a submitted request with an unambiguous correction goal.

Original example: Remove the red cup from the table. Keep the fictional adult's face, seated pose, blue jacket, window background and photographic style unchanged.

Here, remove identifies the action and red cup identifies the target. Avoid adding a new outfit, location and lighting scheme to the same request. For this correction, leave out broad instructions such as make everything cinematic, which conflict with keeping the existing scene.

Read your prompt once against the selected image, then submit through the editor's available control. Treat the preservation sentence as guidance, not a lock. This tutorial requires no brush, selection mask or invented setting.

3. Inspect the complete result against the original

When a result is available, compare the whole picture, not just the corrected object. Expected result: an accept, retry or stop decision based on visible differences.

For the example, check whether the cup is gone and whether the table surface looks plausible. Then inspect the adult subject's face, hands, clothing edges, pose, background and overall sharpness. Use your comparison note so a successful removal does not distract you from a changed face.

Accept only a result you actually prefer. A changed face may matter more than the cup, while a small background difference may be acceptable for your purpose. You set that threshold; do not interpret a completed generation as proof of a successful correction.

4. Iterate from a deliberate starting point, or stop

Choose whether the original or edited image is the better starting point before another request. Expected result: a controlled next attempt, or a decision to keep the better version and stop.

The June 9, 2025 editing guide documents editing an edited image. If you continue, verify which image is open rather than assuming the next request starts from your preferred version.

Our suggested stop rule is one correction attempt and one narrower retry. If the face or composition has drifted, return to the original and simplify rather than layering more fixes onto a result you dislike. This is an editorial limit for controlling effort, not a Nomi usage cap.

The June guide warns about face consistency, hand or limb repairs and reduced resolution. These are dated cautions, not measured October success rates. Stop if results worsen, a charge is unclear, an error persists, or the request is blocked; do not try to bypass a safety refusal.

Keep V5 anchor creation separate from one-image correction

Use Edit / Transform for this picture; consider an anchor only when your goal is a recurring look in future images.

The V5 appearance guide, dated April 29, 2026 documents Turn Image into Anchor from an album image. Its version caveat is specific: if that anchor button is missing, check Image Settings for Version 5. That is not a documented fix for a missing Edit / Transform control.

The newer guide includes an anchor based on an edited image, so do not apply the older guide's edited-base restriction universally. Anchor creation is a separate commitment, not a save command for this correction. Read its settings and any payment confirmation independently, and do not start it merely to remove the cup.

Troubleshooting without exposing private material

If access or an error remains unclear, stop generating and consult official support with the smallest useful description.

Report your platform, the missing control or exact error, and the harmless action you attempted. Exclude passwords, payment details and unrelated conversations. If you share a screenshot, remove identifying information first. A support request can begin with text; you need not publish your album to ask for help.

Frequently asked questions

Can I run Edit / Transform on a Nomi image I already edited?

Yes, the June 2025 guide documents iterative editing. Open the version you intend to use and inspect each result. Continue only while it improves the picture; another pass is not guaranteed to preserve earlier improvements.

Why did my Nomi edit change the whole picture?

The June 2025 guide describes whole-image editing rather than a guaranteed isolated repair. Ask for one narrow change and specify what to keep. Compare everything afterward; if the result drifts, retry from the original or stop.

Should I use Turn Image into Anchor instead of editing this Nomi picture?

Not for a one-picture correction. The V5 guide describes anchors as references for future likeness and shows an edited-image example. Choose that separate workflow only for an ongoing appearance goal, after checking its requirements and charges.

What should I do if Edit / Transform Image is missing from my Nomi album image?

Confirm that you opened an individual image through the album route. If the control is still absent, ask official support; do not assume payment unlocks it. The V5 setting advice concerns the separate anchor button, not verified editor eligibility.
